This videos shows a new method that helps customer’s indecisive moments at restaurants become more simpler. It uses a software that examines the eye movement on what you stare at most, or first etc. Pizza hut is utilizing this ‘eye tracking” system and is planning to change the dining in experience, They believe they can calculate what you want to eat, but I see flaws in this system to a certain extent, because many consumers while dining out, spend more than a couple seconds looking at the menu which may time out this system. The idea of having a simpler eating solution sounds nice, but more trials in different variations of restaurants must occur for its success.
