I found a very interesting video about humanitarian logistics in where is shown how a very important enterprise like UPS, cooperate with a non-governmental organization like Care, giving him the keys they use in their daily routine.
These two companies provide to these needed people, all the shipments they need in the shortest amount of time, and making these shipments arrive exactly where they have to go, using as fewest resources as possible.
It’s a referent and an interesting way to help these non-governmental organizations to become bigger and better, and provide as many help as possible.

The idea of applying logistics in these situations and not only for earning money and be eficient show that UPS is sensitive with what happens around the world. They try to implement what they have made them succeed during years looking for better conditions in poor countries improving their situation as fast as possible.
In my opinion, the implementation of logistics in these situations would be a solution but not only to improve the image of the company, as some they would do… They must act and apply their knowledge to really help who need.
